ABOUT THE BOOK

If everyone’s life is a book, and every day a page, then there are some days that deserve to be dog-eared; your high-school graduation, your wedding day, the birth of your children, and the day your doctor discusses cancer with you for the first time.

If you are a caregiver, or about to be one, this book can hopefully shortcut the learning curve that sliced me to shreds.

This book is the story of my wife’s cancer and our journey through the medical system that eventually led us to one of the most cutting edge, lifesaving surgeries on earth.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Bob is an author, musician, photographer, and was a caregiver to his remarkable wife, Carole, for four years during her cancer journey. He is dedicated to tell her story and help patients and caregivers on their cancer journeys.

Bob has spoken to many cancer support groups and hopes to speak to many more.

Bob’s book is titled “You Mean, Besides the Cancer?”, and it covers the time period between the diagnosis of his wife’s unusual cancer through the cutting edge surgery performed at the Stanford Cancer Center.

The e-book is available online for $1.99, of which sixty cents goes to Bob.  His book was not written to make money.
